Polipectomy
If during colposcopic examination a polyp on the cervix is detected, its removal is necessary.
This operation can be done in local anesthesia, during which the polyp is removed with the instrument.
After that in most cases a curettage of the cervix canal is performed.
The material is then sent for histopathological verification.
The recovery is fast, and after the intervention some mild pains and scanty bleeding could occur.
