Pessary replication

In the case of total prolapse of gynecological organs, most often in the elderly, when it is not possible to perform classic gynecological surgery due to patient’s health, a pessary is applied.

Pessary is of a corresponding size, ring shaped, made of silicone. It is placed in the exactly determined way and it prevents the shedding of the vaginal walls, cervix and uterus through vagina.

After placing it, it is necessary to perform every two to three months the dressing and reapplication of the pessary.
